羅大友上世紀(jì)70年代初參軍入伍、參加了多次大型軍事演習(xí)、軍事戰(zhàn)斗及遼寧省海城、河北 省唐山的抗震救災(zāi)。并在部隊(duì)多次立功受獎(jiǎng)!

轉(zhuǎn)業(yè)到中央國(guó)有特大型企業(yè)后，多年任央企黨、政、工、團(tuán)中層一把手。上世紀(jì)80年代任團(tuán)委書記期間因?yàn)闃I(yè)績(jī)突出、受到時(shí)任團(tuán)中央書記胡錦濤等領(lǐng)導(dǎo)接見并合影。上世紀(jì)80、90年代三次出席全國(guó)性表彰大會(huì),獲國(guó)家級(jí)榮譽(yù)和獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)!1996年10月應(yīng)邀去臺(tái)灣參加經(jīng)濟(jì)教育考察,1997年11月出席聯(lián)合國(guó)在馬耳他共和國(guó)首都瓦萊塔召開的國(guó)際人口研討會(huì).并參加聯(lián)合國(guó)有關(guān)機(jī)構(gòu)的培訓(xùn)。

羅大友幾十年來從未放棄對(duì)中國(guó)茶文化潛心研究、深悟茶為萬病之藥之術(shù)。他系統(tǒng)研究了中國(guó)五千年來茶文化的歷史沿革和發(fā)展現(xiàn)狀;特別是對(duì)鴉片戰(zhàn)爭(zhēng)以后中國(guó)茶文化在大陸斷代的嚴(yán)重現(xiàn)象給予了極大的關(guān)切……。他對(duì)國(guó)內(nèi)五十六個(gè)民族的飲茶習(xí)俗進(jìn)行了歸納總結(jié);對(duì)中國(guó)各大茶區(qū)不同茶葉品種的優(yōu)質(zhì)茶葉生產(chǎn)進(jìn)行了全面系統(tǒng)研究和具體指導(dǎo)。
